CAD Drafter - $15 - $25/hr DOE
High end cabinet shop seeks a CAD Drafter with a minimum of one year drafting experience and a familiarity with construction practices. Employee will perform drafting assignments, which require knowledge and skill in drafting techniques and procedures with limited supervision.
Education / Experience
Drafting Certificate or at least 1-2 years equivalent experience
Possess skills in the following areas: ·
High School level mathematics
2 yrs or more of word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
1 yrs or more of Drafting, including scales, drawing layout, lettering, and a high degree of accuracy in copying
1 yrs or more of extensive knowledge of various CAD programs
Working in a team environment
Communicating effectively with co-workers Familiarity and knowledge of general construction
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop drawings from sketches or verbal direction
Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work
Bring potential project-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party
