Job Description & Requirements Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse - (NICU RN) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $32.00 * The elite team members of this Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) unit are seeking a like-minded, compassionate NICU RN to join their ranks. The role of the neonatal intensive care nurse (NICU nurse) is to provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy. Working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals, the NICU RNs assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery. Required Qualifications 1. 4-5 years NICU level III 2. NRP 3. CA lic. 4, Care of Micro-premies less than 24 weeks. 5. Knowledge and hands- on experience in cooling of babies 6. Knowledge and experience in caring for premies/infants on nitrous oxide.
