Lead Plant Accountant - Relocation Opportunity - (Santa Maria) in Santa Maria, California For Sale
Manufacturing facility in Santa Maria, CA is looking for a Lead Plant Accountant. Relocation assistance will be provided if you would like to relocate to the Central Coast. This position requires hands on accounting experience within the manufacturing sector. You must be comfortable in all aspects of the financial close, P&L forecasting and budgeting, cost accounting and inventory audits. Duties will include: analysis of financial results and assisting with annual budget; monthly forecasting and variance analysis; preparing month end reports for both plant and corporate offices; identifying and managing process improvement initiatives as it relates to labor, material usage, and spending; assisting with the development of forecasting/budgeting systems; preparing and posting journal entries; account reconciliations; cost accounting, and inventory control and verification.
