Description:
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, supports the total system perspective including the technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements. Also, assists in the definition and integration of complex software and analysis tools. Works effectively on several phases of software, systems, and analysis with little direction, but may require some instruction and guidance for some aspects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
: Provides full integration support throughout the total system life cycle (including maintenance, administration, and management), across multiple systems/applications/platforms, including a familiarity of relevant policies, standards, methodologies, and frameworks.
: Focuses on specific areas such as customer advocacy, customer relationship building, needs assessment, requirements definition and management, process/control gate support, systems integration testing, program management support, and technical integration. Provides functional analysis related to design, development, and implementation of hardware and software systems for the organizations products.
: Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
: Creates, drafts and/or reviews product documentation.
: Generates formal review documentation.
: Assists in performing systems design, development and product testing on systems, software, hardware and equipment.
: Develops verification plans based on configuration requirements and documents.
: Reviews and identifies system and product plan inconsistencies.
: Analyzes relationship management, computer systems requirements and dependencies, both hardware and software.
: Converts mission and customer needs into system requirements and definition, and work directly with engineering staff to define and prioritize mission needs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Physical Demands:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face:to:face. Some travel may be required.
