The Project Manager must have a broad knowledge and experience in television production environment. They should have average skills in Excel, Word, Photoshop, experience with the Vizrt platform a plus. Excellent skills in communication, reasoning skills, and time management are expected. They must have demonstrated the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time, experience in scheduling personnel, and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written. They must have a general knowledge of types of insert graphics elements, graphics terminology, and football. Experience in broadcast graphics project management, graphics production management, general graphics operating procedures, personnel management is required.
Work Environment / Conditions:
The Project Manager will work on site in Culver City in a state of the art facility, but will possibly be required to travel occasionally to remote events. The Project Manager will collaborate with creative director, designers, and producers in developing and maintaining graphics packages and branding of the network.
Summary Description:
The Real-Time Systems Project Manager guides and manages the overall creative assets of shows or projects that he/she is assigned to. Their areas of influence encompass real-time insert graphics (VizRt). They are involved in all the phases of the creative process: Analysis, Definition, Organization, Development, Delivery, and Support. It is their responsibility to communicate what the technical requirements will be for the development of new and existing projects. Their responsibilities include creating timeline and milestones for the artists and programmers, and assuring that their projects are done in a timely manner. They report directly to the Director of Real-Time Systems and work in partnership with Graphics Producers, and Coordinating and Segment Producers assigned to his/her projects.
